Annie is a film editor with an extensive background in story producing & archival. She has worked on nearly everything from six-part documentary series, to narrative features, political ads, branded content, immersive experiences, and even a music video. Her background in rare archival has informed and strengthened her editing style.
Most recently, Annie was the lead editor of SLY (2023), dir. Thom Zimny, a feature documentary on actor/writer/director Sylvester Stallone. SLY premieres November 3, 2023 on Netflix. She was a lead editor on ARE WE LOST (2022), a narrative feature directed by Jenny Gage & Tom Betterton (ALL THIS PANIC, 2016) which premiered in competition at the 2022 Seattle International Film Festival. Annie was an additional editor & story producer on the docuseries on Earvin “Magic” Johnson, THEY CALL ME MAGIC, dir. Rick Famuyiwa (DOPE) which premiered in competition at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival and was acquired by AppleTV+.
Annie’s work as an archival and story producer include several critically-acclaimed documentaries: SPACESHIP EARTH, dir. Matt Wolf, which had its world premiere at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival; THE FOURTH ESTATE (2018) dir. Liz Garbus & Jenny Carchman, on The New York Times’ coverage of President Trump; and the definitive documentary on the Grateful Dead, LONG STRANGE TRIP (2017) dir. Amir Bar-Lev and executive produced by Martin Scorsese.
Annie’s work has premiered at Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Hamptons International Film Festival, SXSW, and Seattle International Film Festival.
On the commercial front, Annie has worked with numerous clients including Samsung, Pfizer, Montefiore Health System, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Frito Lay, Pepsi, Dial soap, and agencies including The Mill, TBWA \ Chiat \ Day, Grey NY, Alto New York, and Ogilvy & Mather.
